More than 2.5 billion people lack clean water throughout the world. At least 3,000 children die each day from diseases caused by unsafe water. We support the Rotary International Foundation in providing relief service throughout the world.
Our club provides support to Lecanto Primary School by giving dictionaries to each 3rd grader, shoes and clothing to needy children and other materials where required. This year our focus is on the Homosassa Boys and Girls club where we are building a robotics laboratory.

We have awarded two scholarships this year. the first is to Michael Adams a senior at Lecanto High School and a leader of the Interact Club. The second was to Stacey Flores, a student at Central Florida College and a member of the Sugarmill Woods Country Club Wait Staff.
There will be no meeting on March 27 due to Easter/Passover.
Since 1985 Rotary members have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against Polio. Today, all but two countries are free of polio. Our club donates money each year to Rotary International Polio Plus Fund which has joined with the Gates foundation to finish the job.
Our Club provides funding and support to local organizations such as We Care Food Pantry and Citrus County Food Bank. We also provide funding and labor to Stop Hunger Now which packages food for distribution to needy countries around the world.
